Broken Beauties is very proud to have been
selected by the United States Department of Defense to provide Shower
Beauties™ Shower and Bathing Cast Covers to the hospital
in Mosul, Iraq to be used for our troops deployed there. We are proud to
be part of the peace-keeping and rebuilding of Iraq, and extremely grateful
to be able to serve the U.S. and coalition forces stationed there. To all
of our military personnel in Iraq, Broken Beauties says "Bravo
Zulu!"*

Beauties appeared on the November 10, 2003 front page of the Lexington
Herald Leader newspaper. On this same day the governor elect, Dr.
Ernie Fletcher had shoulder surgery and his office called to ask if we
could send him some of our fashion arm slings in the "Business Line".
We subsequently designed an entire wardrobe of fashion arm slings for
the governor elect for the inauguration on December the 9th.

On the 10th of November, 2003, Broken Beauties was featured on the 5:00pm evening news on WHAS Channel 11.
On th 11th of November, 2003, Broken Beauties was featured in news stories all day in broadcasts on WLBN radio.
Wednesday evening November the 12th, 2003, Broken Beauties’ products will be featured on the celebrity television talk show “So Graham Norton” (this show broadcasts to 6 million viewers on the BBC in the U.K.) when they do a show on celebrity injuries. The show will air on a two-month time delay on the BBC America.
